Our take

Spark Labs is a membership studio that brings in specialists for each discipline and lets kids move between them rather than committing to one track. The filmmaking runs through Six Pixels Studios, the LEGO robotics through a Snapology partnership and FIRST LEGO League. For a family whose kid hasn't settled on one interest yet, that breadth under a single membership is the pitch.

It works on a monthly plan — a set number of classes or social clubs each month, with a missed-session rollover and a member discount on anything extra — plus à la carte booking for families who'd rather pay per workshop or camp.
