Our take

Smart Quest Academy is a private, family-owned preschool near Southlake Town Square, and its two organizing ideas are Spanish immersion and a STEAM curriculum — both woven through the program rather than sold as add-ons. Credentials

Smart Quest Academy is a facility-based, family-owned preschool. Its director, Karla G. Aleman, describes more than fifteen years of experience in early-childhood education. Teachers complete 24 clock hours of annual training across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and approaches-to-learning domains, and are trained in pediatric CPR and first aid, SIDS awareness, allergic-reaction management, and emergency evacuation; the academy states it meets Texas child-care regulations and sponsors a CDA credential program for staff advancement.
