2026–27 monthly preschool tuition runs from $530 (two days a week) to $1,050 (five days) for a 9 AM–2 PM day, ages 18 months through transitional kindergarten, plus a $200 annual registration fee ($50 for each additional child) and a $150 supply fee per child. Extended care is extra: early drop-off (7:30–9 AM) $100 a month, late pick-up (2–6 PM) $260, or both $340; a drop-in day is $60. The Spanish after-school programme is posted at $360 for 12 sessions (Tuesday or Wednesday) or $650 for 24 sessions (Tuesday and Wednesday); summer-camp rates aren't currently posted. The parent handbook adds a 10% discount for each additional enrolled child, or for a parent who works for an ISD, serves in the military, or is a police officer or firefighter. Only one discount applies per family, it comes off the lowest monthly tuition, and it holds only while tuition is paid on time. A family that refers a new family gets $100 off the next month. Tuition is due on the 1st, with a $5-a-day late fee from five days late. Late pick-up costs $1 a minute after 2:10 PM, and $3 a minute after 6 PM for extended-care families.

Details

Summer camp runs as weekly themed sessions for ages 3–8; the 2027 season is scheduled May 31–July 30 (closed July 2–9). Break camps for ages 3–6: a 2-day Fall Break camp (Nov 23–24, 2026), a multi-day Winter Break camp (Dec 21–22 and Dec 28–29, 2026) and a 2-day Spring Break camp (Mar 15–16, 2027).

Our take

Smart Quest Academy is a private, family-owned preschool near Southlake Town Square, and its two organizing ideas are Spanish immersion and a STEAM curriculum — both woven through the program rather than sold as add-ons. It runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 6 PM, with rooms grouped by age from 18 months through the 4-year-olds, on a curriculum aligned to the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.

The distinctive piece is the Bilingual Transitional Kindergarten: a half-day-English, half-day-Spanish year built for children who just miss the kindergarten cutoff or could use another year before it. Who it's for: families who specifically want Spanish-language exposure and a STEAM emphasis in an independent, owner-run setting rather than a franchise — and, for the transitional-kindergarten families, a structured bridge year. It's a smaller program, so ask about openings by age band.

An independent, family-owned preschool in the Southlake Town Square area. A few genuinely useful things:

  • There's a free monthly Mommy & Me class (12 months–2 years, last Friday of the month) that's a low-commitment way to try the place before enrolling, and tours are free and booked online.
  • The Bilingual Transitional Kindergarten is a half-English, half-Spanish year aimed at younger fives and kindergarten-cutoff kids.
  • The Spanish After-School program is open to K–5 children who don't attend the preschool.
  • Day-to-day communication and registration run through the Brightwheel app.
  • Preschool tuition is posted on the academy's tuition page as a monthly rate by days per week, and the Spanish after-school programme is priced per 12- or 24-session block; summer-camp rates aren't posted, so ask.
Credentials

Smart Quest Academy is a facility-based, family-owned preschool. Its director, Karla G. Aleman, describes more than fifteen years of experience in early-childhood education. Teachers complete 24 clock hours of annual training across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and approaches-to-learning domains, and are trained in pediatric CPR and first aid, SIDS awareness, allergic-reaction management, and emergency evacuation; the academy states it meets Texas child-care regulations and sponsors a CDA credential program for staff advancement.
