Private one-on-one music lessons plus ensembles, for students from young children to seniors. Instruments: piano (classical, jazz, keyboard), guitar (acoustic or electric — rock, country, pop, praise & worship, classical), voice, drums, strings (violin, viola, cello, including string quartets), and band instruments; music production is also offered. Lessons run Monday–Thursday noon–9 PM during the school year, and Monday–Wednesday noon–7 PM in summer.

Hall Music Productions covers a wide set of instruments in one place. Piano, guitar, voice, and drums are all here, but so are strings — violin, viola, cello, even assembled string quartets — plus band-instrument coaching and music production. The studio points out something true about the area: there's no school orchestra across Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and Trophy Club, so for a kid drawn to strings, a place that teaches them is worth knowing about.

It's an independent, owner-operated studio rather than a franchise, and it teaches across the whole age span — from little kids just able to move their fingers on the keys up through adult and senior students. Lessons are private and once-weekly, with ensembles available for students who want to play with others; the billing is a flat monthly rate that doesn't change whether a month has three lessons or five, which takes the guesswork out of budgeting. If you want a big recital-company production, this isn't that; if you want serious, flexible instruction across a wide set of instruments in one place, it fits.

The hours shift by season — lessons run Monday through Thursday until 9 PM during the school year but pull back to Monday through Wednesday until 7 PM in summer — so confirm the calendar before booking a summer slot.
Tuition is a flat monthly rate regardless of how many lessons fall in the month, and multi-class discounts stack if you enroll a second instrument or an ensemble.

Credentials

Hall Music Productions is an independent, owner-operated music studio run by David Hall, who took a bachelor's in jazz guitar studies from the University of North Texas in 2001 and began teaching privately the following year. Instruction spans piano, guitar, voice, drums, strings (violin, viola, cello, and string quartets), and band instruments, plus music production.

The studio publishes a bio for each of its twelve teachers, and the roster leans heavily on working professional musicians with jazz-performance degrees. Jesse Chandler holds a B.A. in Jazz Performance from The New School and plays keyboards in Midlake; Mike Urness has a B.A. in Jazz Studies from UNT and plays guitar with The Killdares and High Definition. Ashleigh Smith took a bachelor's in jazz studies at UNT and was first runner-up in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition; Kaela Sinclair holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, also from UNT. Several teach more than one instrument — Urness covers guitar, bass, beginning drums and piano, Matt Thompson drums, piano and guitar, Brandon Arthur guitar, violin and piano. Ask which teacher you would be matched with: the bios name what each one plays and how they teach, and some of them have not been updated in years.
