Our take

Crush It! is a sports bar and games venue built around simulators. Its golf bays run Full Swing software with more than 85 courses, and the multi-sport bays cover football, basketball and more. There are six duckpin bowling lanes, augmented-reality darts, a pickleball simulator and arcade games, plus a full bar, a scratch kitchen and a covered patio.

For families, duckpin bowling is the easy start. The balls are small enough for young hands and nobody needs bowling shoes. A simulator bay holds up to ten people and the lanes, darts and pickleball up to eight, so a family or a small party fits in one booking.

Groups of eleven or more book an event instead, and the venue lists birthday parties, field trips and kids' camps among the events it hosts.

Local Tips

Crush It! is on Highway 114 in Grapevine, a short drive east of Southlake, and the timing of a visit matters more here than at most play spaces.

Go before 8 PM later in the week. After 8 PM Thursday to Saturday, everyone must be 18 or older.
Monday is private events only. The venue opens to the public Tuesday to Sunday.
Book ahead. Simulator bays, lanes, darts and pickleball are reserved online, and the website does not list their rates, so check the price when you book.
Cake needs a party package. Outside cakes and cupcakes are allowed only with one of the venue's party packages.
Eleven or more people is an event. Larger groups book through the events team rather than reserving a bay.
