Our take

C2's pitch is the opposite of a crowded prep class or a library of videos you watch on your own time: face-to-face, personalized instruction built around a plan the center writes for your specific student after a free consultation. That's the line it draws for itself — "we're not an 8-week class with 20 students, and we're not a series of online videos." For a Carroll family with a high-schooler chasing a test score or a better GPA, that personal plan is the reason to look here.

C2 sits at 1500 West Southlake Boulevard (1709), and its location is genuinely useful: it's directly across the road from Carroll Senior High School, so it's a short hop for a Dragon student between the last bell and a tutoring block. Hours vary by day, so check before you plan a session:

  • Monday through Thursday run from 2 PM into the evening (to 9:30 PM).
  • Friday is a shorter afternoon and early-evening day.
  • Saturday runs from late morning through the afternoon; it's closed Sunday.

The on-ramp is the free consultation rather than a trial class; it's where the center assesses the student and quotes a plan. Tuition is set per plan: C2's FAQ gives a typical range for multi-month programs, but the actual figure only comes out of that consultation — worth booking before you compare it on price with anywhere else.

Credentials

C2 Education of Southlake is the Southlake center of C2 Education, the tutoring and test-prep company founded in 1997 by David Kim and Jim Narangajavana.
