Our take

All American MMA is a martial arts gym on Keller Hicks Road in Keller, teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing and wrestling to kids, teens and adults. The coaching roster is the main reason to look at it: several BJJ black belts with IBJJF and ADCC results, a Muay Thai coach with more than two decades in the sport, and a boxing coach who has been coaching since the early 1990s. It is also a competition gym, and its blog follows the team to IBJJF tournaments, Pan Kids and the US Muaythai Open.

The kids' classes run in the late afternoon on weekdays, split by level as well as age: a little kids' BJJ class, an advanced kids' and teens' class, kids' boxing and no-gi, and youth wrestling. The adult and teen classes follow in the evening, and adults also get a morning BJJ class three days a week. Most adult BJJ classes are listed as Beginner/Advanced, so newer students train on the same mat as experienced ones.

Local Tips

The gym is at 102 Keller Hicks Rd in Keller. All American MMA's Southlake gym closed at the start of September 2026, so Keller is now the program's only location. A few things to know:

  • Kids are placed by level as well as age: Little Kid's BJJ is for ages 5–9, the advanced kids' and teens' BJJ class is for 9–14, and kids' boxing, kids' no-gi and youth wrestling are open to all ages.
  • High school and advanced wrestlers train in the evening, after the kids' classes.
  • The schedule lists an extra open mat that only runs when the gym announces it on social media, so check its pages before you drive over.
  • The gym advertises a free week trial on its Facebook and Instagram profiles. The only published rates are for its wrestling club, on its Facebook page, so call about the other classes.
